Dear Hughes Staff, Families, and Community Partners,
I hope this message finds you well.
As we reflect on an outstanding 2025–2026 school year, I am excited to share the CE Hughes STEM Learning Experiences | SY 2025–2026 Google Drive folder. This collection highlights the many STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) experiences that enriched learning for our students and extended education beyond the classroom.
This work would not have been possible without the exceptional leadership of Mrs. Helena Henderson, whose vision, dedication, and commitment to STEM education helped create engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for our scholars. Her efforts, along with those of our staff, ensured that students experienced STEM in meaningful and innovative ways throughout the school year.
We are also incredibly grateful for our valued partnership with Rush University Medical Center. Through this collaboration, our students had opportunities to connect classroom learning with real-world careers in healthcare, science, technology, and innovation. Partnerships like these help inspire our scholars to envision future possibilities while strengthening their college and career readiness.
Throughout the year, our students participated in educational field experiences, STEM investigations, engineering challenges, career exploration activities, and collaborative learning experiences that encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. These experiences reflect our commitment to providing every student with access to high-quality, engaging learning opportunities.
I invite our families, staff, and community members to explore the folder and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our students. As you view the photos, I hope you will see the enthusiasm, collaboration, and excitement that our scholars demonstrated throughout each STEM experience.
For our staff, if you have additional STEM-related photos or documentation from the 2025–2026 school year that are not currently included, please upload them to the folder so we can continue building a comprehensive archive of our school’s work.
